Domaine Maubernard
Description
This property of about ten hectares of rocky soil is expanded in a slight slope towards the Golfe des Lecques.
This soil is particular because it is clayed and chalky and we can find the “Les Lecques” big flat rocks.
These are exceptional with their size and their presence is specific to this soil of the Bandol designation. These plots called “restanques” are oriented to the sea.
The geographical situation is essential to the Mourvèdre, grape variety giving its typicallity to our red wines: the proximity to the sea allows it to open up.
